To be blunt trying to keep up with all the darkest most fucked up things Israel is doing seems like a really good way to guarantee I have no emotional energy to go outside and actually be involved in meaningful shit that might make anything in the world better, which I already struggle with after spending all my emotional energy on basic functioning and coming up short

I do my best to follow things, but I'm not going to devote all my time to trying to know all the most horrific atrocities that are happening; that is a deeply unhealthy and likely counterproductive way to attend to wrongs that are happening.
