Does it count as a home studio if you just don't care how big of a mess you make and do things wherever you feel like?

Cuz I paint in bed. I do clay work on the carpeted floor of my spare room. I make beady things on the couch. Who cares if a paint drip gets on my table? Or blanket? I mean I have ruined so much clothing with paint over the years because I have no concept of “work clothes”, what’s a drip here or there?

Ironically I make more mess of my own self when painting walls than I ever have messed up the environment I’m painting.. I don't use painters tape or drop cloth, I'm just very good at cutting lines, but I’ll always ruin whatever I'm wearing to do it. For whatever reason.
