It's more about the execution than the story itself. I'll readily suspend disbelief and ignore inconsistencies as long as the delivery is well made, like in Funny Games or Arrival
Exactly! It’s like I don’t need someone to enumerate the logical inconsistencies of Mullholland Drive, I want to know how it made you feel.
