There's probably a name for this phenomenon, but Evangelicals have always loved creating the most low effort slop in their attempt to convert people, they never put the effort in to learn how to actually make something decent, if they make a movie or a kid's show or a video game it is always really lazily made. So it makes sense they'd love AI, since it appeals to that sort of mindset the most. I just wonder why they have that sort of mindset in the first place instead of that "protestant work ethic" or whatever.

The protestant work ethic isn't about taking a lot of effort to make the best possible product, it's just working and being seen to be working for a lot of hours.

It's quite a shift since the pre-modern where high effort art was near synonymous with religion.
