Hello friends first time DM here who fool hearted decided to jump into world building rather than running a cookie cutter adventure.

I’m hoping some battle tested dungeon masters could throw me a couple pointers on how you introduce players to your worlds to help flesh out my pages of notes 😅

Involve them in the world building! Play games like A Quiet Year to develop a map and history, Artifact to make legendary items and add history to the world, Deck of Worlds to make locations for the larger map, dieties, etc.

Lots of fun this way!
