Hello friends first time DM here who fool hearted decided to jump into world building rather than running a cookie cutter adventure.

I’m hoping some battle tested dungeon masters could throw me a couple pointers on how you introduce players to your worlds to help flesh out my pages of notes 😅

It's helpful to collaborate the setting and world-building with the players. Not only does this allow them to create characters who are native to the setting, it also gives them agency and stakes in the story.

This will this save you time and effort, and make you a better DM.
