Davos, famous bastion of democracy?

UAE is probably the worst example of nationalism they could have picked. Fake country with no roots or legitimacy or "nation" led by traitors and sell-out compradors. Should have picked Kiev or something for their platonic ideal of reactionary nationalism

It's literally heartbreaking to see someone attempt to integrate this

into a quiz and situate it as diametrically opposed to Davos. No it isn't. That's not true.

The most charitable possible interpretation would be first world liberal internationalism versus semiperipheral (am I using this term correctly?) compradors trying to gain security in a system that needs them on edge. That's definitely not what they mean. I only know one guy who talks like that and I barely get what he is saying.

Would it be a stretch to say that people like Erdogan are in the international version of the petit bourgeoisie? Constantly trying to find a mystical third path between capitalism and socialism, or in this case between imperialism and true internationalism, which is not-so-secretly just fascism and getting merced by the next biggest fascists.

The UAE even has pretensions of supporting the third world if you talk to the right stans, who are all completely delusional and barely know what words mean. They want to wriggle out of the deal they locked themselves into. That's more like a health condition within the same entity that a polar opposite entity.

Dubai & Davos would already be delineated by the chudwoke axis within a framework that acknowledges this tug-of-war. They don't need their own for the memes.
