MODERATORS
played videogames for years without a problem, had a PS4 for a year and I swear that little beep gets mapped as a pavlovian reaction for being pissed the fuck off. Started more fights than being hungry.
that beep is a horrible sound too, sounds like a microwave. like they couldnt program something better than a basic beep?
I've heard the exact same beep from AC units.
Can you turn that off on a PS4? I know you can on a PS5
Not on PS4, but PS5 is much louder. They programmed the PS5 so that the startup sounds and music must be played through the TV, even if headphones are plugged in and settings are set to push all audio throigh headphones
