I don't think it's a conspiracy, I just think many users have the same desire to avoid unpleasant feelings as the dev. Unfortunately, that just means they sit back and do nothing as most of the queer people are silenced.
It's actually really upsetting and disgusting, but if I made a post fully expressing my frustration, they wouldn't listen. They'd see it as too whiny, preachy, and rude. Then again, if that dev has added me to the list like I asked, they probably won't see this post in the first place.
Probably the same folks that get mad when the patriarchy gets criticized or when people cheer on nazis and other intolerable assholes getting the crap beaten out of them.
The not listed want to distract from their failure in life.
