Cruelty has always been the point of the right wing.
Just remember that when the astroturfers come in to tell you the Democrats will be just as bad. You saw what they did when they had full control. They didn't do you any favours. They raised prices everywhere and started wars, and covered up their crimes against children, and protected other paedophiles in their ranks. Vote them out. That's how you say no to this shit.
If the other party does it, vote them out too. Take them off the public dole, make them go work for a living. AFAIK only the president gets lifetime guaranteed income after leaving office in the US. The rest can be effectively fired.
Yeah, it has to be astroturfing. It couldn't be that we saw the Democrats do all of these things. The party who doesn't let the voters pick the candidates will totally just sit back and let you vote them out.
So you think the Republicans will make things better for you if you don't vote them out? Just look at the last couple years when they had complete power with no one to stop them. Or maybe they've done wonders for your portfolio?

Yeah, it's all going just as I expected it would. But it's not like the Democrats have tried stopping them when they had the power to. They spent all that time helping build out the Republican's projects and policies, instead of fighting them.

We have seen them do the same. They built the fucking death camps. They went to little st. James. They are all on record right now about how the war is good but they would fight it right unlike republicans. If you had object permanence you would recognize that lie from Iraq. 100 dem senators would necessarily include at least 51 Johns Fetterman.
