Hello Wafflers! Welcome to another week here on Planet Earth. It is Monday the 13th of July, which is, of course, Embrace Your Geekness Day!

Thank goodness for geeks. Where would we be without them? You might even say that Mr Waffle himself is a bit of a geek for creating Waffle and finding such fun in developing, experimenting with and fiddling around with code. And it doesn’t stop there. One Word Search, Stackdown, Lettergrams, Number Waffle... All these little games, all these daily rituals, all these carefully crafted moments of “Aha!” and “No, wait, hang on...”

So today, dear Wafflers, let us celebrate the geeks. The solvers. The people who enjoy a good system, a clever constraint and the quiet thrill of making six words sit nicely in a grid. We salute you, with great affection and a dollop of cream with a cherry on top.
