UK allocates £250m for policing in Jewish communities (www.rte.ie)

More than £250 million (€293.38m) is to be invested into increasing policing in Jewish communities after a spate of violent attacks "so Jewish communities can live and celebrate their faith free from fear," the UK government has said.

The increased funding will see a surge in police presence, patrols, and protecting security outside synagogues and schools, as well as specialist plain-clothes officers in Jewish communities.

It will deliver more than 500 additional officers across England and Wales, including around 300 additional officers in London and around 80 in Greater Manchester, along with more officers for forces serving other areas with significant Jewish populations.

The package will also continue Project Servator, deploying specialist and plain-clothes officers trained to identify suspicious behaviour and prevent serious crime.

That could mean anything from the knife grazing him to him breaking his nose in the struggle.

He was attacked with a knife and has a murder charge for it. You don't get those for no reason

Mentally ill people are still capable of hate crimes.

Sure so find me the part where he said he did it because he hated Jews.

Your argument is "Any person who is attacked and happens to be Jewish = antisemitism hate crime"
