It's not electronics or machinery, it's a piece of forged or extruded materials, and a couple of pieces of plastic or glass, the cost is not high (in case of prescription glasses and special coatings the price will raise, but it will mostly be labour price, it's not something the manufacturer does

I'm US American, and everyone I know including me has had to specifically ask for a copy of the prescription, and they usually try to leave information like the PD off. It's scummy as fuck.

You have to specifically asknfor it in the US, and they act like it's a crazy request. And they usually won't give you your PD.
