Questionable from an individual privacy standpoint, though I do wish more information about the political contributions of specific businesses and their owners were public to more easily boycott fascist-led businesses.
Agreed. However, it was Republicans in my state that voted to make party registration public. I assume that all republican voters want me to know that they are a Republican, because that's what Republican policy supports. I have no qualms judging people and avoiding them based on what they want me to know.
It would adjust my buying habits.
There’s some businesses in hard right areas that make really fantastic products and I’m always torn on whether I should support them or just get second best. There’s also companies that seem socialist but also get most of their income from US Military.
“We support the troops” and “John 3:16” in website footers are really helpful but the savvy companies don’t put that in.
