NVDA 2026.2 Beta 6 is now available for testing!

  • Updates to translations
  • Show the restart dialog after updating from within NVDA
  • SAPI5 bug fix: skip over invalid voices
  • SAPI4 32 bit bug fix: support more voices
  • Improve conflict handling between magnifier and screen curtain
  • Restore the ability for add-ons to register custom touch modes in availableTouchModes

Please note: We are aware of issues using SAPI 5 voices with this beta. This will be rectified for Beta 7 early next week. In the meantime, if wishing to use this beta, please use a different synthesizer, such as Windows OneCore or eSpeak-NG.
