What about a technical solution?
If someone posts a twitter link the backend should rewrite it to an xcancel link. I think it would be a pretty simple fix that would prevent sending traffic to once of the worst fash sites while also making it easy for people to post links.
I don't really like xcancel. It doesn't even appear to archive stuff and is slow as fuck.
