    Nato is not responsible for israel. They are a deterrent for countries like russia to invade member countries. And yeah they are pretty shit, and lots of shitty members, but it has nothing to do with this. The only one attacking nato constantly is russia cause they can't invade all the countries they want now, like finland. That's why I also assume anyone wording thing like nato-backed israel is a russian troll.

    Do we need to say china-backed or iran-backed or North Korean-backed russia every time they commit a war crime as well? And yeah fuck governments that back israel. But that's not a nato thing, they are about defending nato countries, that's why russia is a threat to them.

    Western media loves saying "Iran backed Houthis" I am not sure why it upsets you so much that I did the same for Israel and NATO.

    North Korea does not subsidize the Russian military. It sells to Russia.

    Backing implies that the primairy source of power comes from the backer and the primary source of power from Israel comes from NATO, not from itself.

    Thank you for your incredibly insightful comment.

    I am now convinced it is the fault of Russia that people believe NATO is providing Israel with the weapons and funding to commit genocide against Palestinians.

    It cannot be that NATO is actually funding Israel, supplying it with weapons and even using the entire NATO logistical supply chain to do so.
