I thought I hated beans as a teen because the only exposure I had was baked beans. ๐
A genuine tragedy. Beanis is the best thing to ever happen to my diet
Discovering I could put beans in the air fryer changed everything for me.
Airfried beanis is a new idea for me ๐ณ
They're so good! 200C for 10 minutes, some salt and oil, and they split open and become a little crispy. My favorites to airfry are garbanzos, I'll season them and eat them by the handful lol
This is great! I've got a ton of cans of edamame beans which are soggy and gross when canned, but this sounds like the ideal fix for them!
Oh fuck, I have some black chickpeas that just finished soaking. I normally roast them but they get quite dry as they cool. Is this still an issue when airfried?
If they're the kind of bean that tend to dry out then they'll get hard and crunchy. Like, hard pretzel pieces.
I'd go for a boil first before airfrying rather than just going from soak to fry, though.
Oh yeah fs, fully intended to boil them lol
