This is a community for all things Moomin.
The Moomins is a franchise created by finnish author/illustrator Tove Jansson. It features a vast amount of comics, TV series, movies, books and games, telling various stories mostly set in moominvalley.

Good demonstration of the limitation of the golden rule, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". I've heard better variations (sometimes called the Platinum Rule) like "Don't treat others the way you wouldn't want to be treated", or "Treat others the way they want to be treated"
“Ask your neighbour’s permission before redoing their entire decoration” is also a good rule.
