Instance is very slow lately (discuss.tchncs.de)

For several months I notice weird slowdowns on this instance. I'm pretty sure it's not my internet since other instances works fine... Anyone else noticed it? First loading of the front page is especially slow for me. It's about 7 seconds or so. I live quite close to Germany 🤔

Yeah, definitely not just you. There's a thread from 2 months ago https://discuss.tchncs.de/post/59450718 which I think is the same issue, but I really don't know.

Really hope they can get to the bottom of this, something's definitely going wrong somewhere in the chain.

Thats about a (potentially) unrelated issue with the web application. I am lucky that i checked as i first discarded the problem due to similar symptoms until somebody told me things are still slow.
