Yes those are their actual names, after the backlash they never appeared in published comic(these are from sneak peaks at a then unreleased new New Warriors series) apparently their origin involved inhaling 'internet gas'

I think Marvel hasn't come out with a good idea in the last 15 years and this is just the pinnacle of their creative process
I think there are a lot of good ideas present in Kamala Khan, I'm just not sure they've been executed on well. I haven't read any of her comics though, just some posts about her and then the Disney+ stuff.

Fwiw, she is the only one I'm aware of. People seem really fond of Gwenpool but she seems way to "lol random" to me.
Yeah, Gwenpool is basically just "What if there were a 2nd Deadpool who was just as fourth-wall breaking, but also, she's a girl!"
At least Deadpool gets some pathos on occasion
