This the thumbnail of that video:

This is her getting mad at 'tankies' for calling her out on her "What are we, a bunch of Asians?" moment:

She also did disgusting smear attacks against the Cuba aid flotilla activists and the Cuban government during the blackout in Cuba. This woman is so weird when it comes to Masks but she has no problem attending Nazi correspondence dinner.

She was awful quiet about the legslative effort to introduce age verification to operating systems, which wouldn't be weird if she weren't also crusading about "internet freedom".

This came up for me just from searching her name: https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2026/mar/02/ban-children-social-media-biometic-data-surveilled

Not about operating systems specifically, but it's a pretty staunch position against the growing interest in age verification under the guise of "protecting the children."

If the OP representations of her are accurate, it may be fair to say she is getting caught up in ultra-left politics. But I didn't even have to search for her talking on age verification and found that, so I don't think your statement is fair.

I never intended to suggest that she hadn't said what you said she said, pretty sure she said the same in her series too. But it was a very profound issue that i'm just shocked someone who's made the critiques you discussed would skirt the most aggressive encroachment we've probably seen to date. Like so much so i even wrote to her about it at the time, lol

Huh, okay. I knew nothing about her prior to this thread, so it sounded odd to me based on what I found about her. Now it sounds even more odd to me in further context, but in a different way.

"As revolutionaries, we don't have the right to say that we're tired of explaining. We must never stop explaining. We also know that when the people understand, they cannot but follow us. In any case, we, the people, have no enemies when it comes to peoples. Our only enemies are the imperialist regimes and organizations." Thomas Sankara, 1985
