Open-Source NVIDIA NVK Vulkan Driver Now Supports DLSS
(www.phoronix.com)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

nvk looks promising but there's still a lot of work to do. it's getting better, still it's nowhere near the NVIDIA's proprietary drivers in terms of performance: https://www.phoronix.com/review/linux-70-nouveau
i see no mention of crashing and such, so i assume it's already good for just outputting display?
afaik it is. I haven't tested it thoroughly but it looks stable enough for general use. some games don't work though, so I don't know if maybe some applications might have the same issues
