Pretty sure the meme is expressing that most US citizens would have preferred spending money on fixing our own problems instead of bombing innocents.
This meme expresses what reasonably educated U.S. citizens think. And it’s not even the irrational MAGA cult, which has no foothold in the Fediverse. These are U.S. citizens expressing their opinions on this platform. And their opinion is that the heinous war crimes committed by their governments don’t matter—only their own well-being does.
If these are supposed to be the critical-thinking U.S. citizens, it’s very easy for me to understand how it’s possible that a serious criminal and obvious pedophile can be their president.
Yeah, we never ever see any US citizens decrying their governments actions here. Never. Nope. No one speaks up at all, you're right.
Who says they are asserting they don't matter?
There are so many wrong things to talk about all at once. A throwaway meme pic is going to touch one point, not be a comprehensive dissertation on the entirety of the situation. There are tons of other memes addressing other facets.
The U.S. started this war, committed the most egregious war crimes in the process, and threw the entire world into turmoil by blocking one of the most important trade routes in violation of international law.
And then U.S. citizens still complain that the pedophile mafia boss they themselves elected is costing them money.
I find that despicable.
In a war where innocent children were killed, you complain about trade routes?
You are actually of course right to also complain about the trade routes as well as the atrocities, but by your logic, you should only be complaining about the worst thing and nothing else.
They’re complaining that they aren’t being taken care of in favor of starting wars.
You’re complaining even when US citizens express disgust at what their government is doing.
It’s clear you just hate the US, which is understandable, but attacking individual citizens in comment sections isn’t doing what you think it is.
Maybe you should leave this card to the people who, unfortunately, have to put up with your dull argument. As a European, it doesn't really affect me all too much, but it certainly affects millions of other people.

Listen you need to understand one thing our anger and frustration is 1000% justified. We cannot change your government only you can. I fully understand these arguments are counter productive. But at the end of the day if our government are ever to face eachother because of who is in charge in the US then I will not hesitate to shoot because at the end of the day it's you or me.
You have the cards and tools in your hands. We don't. I will consider the relationship fully ended with the US and will cut off contacts with American friends regardless of how they voted in the midterms If the pedophile in Charge doesn't face a wave of backlash in the ballot.
