Everybody loves Raymond sucked absolute shit. Every episode was the same and the only joke it had was mother in law bad. I agree completely that Seinfeld was even worse. I have never been less entertained than when that whiny hack was on screen.
Not entirely true, Peter Boyle was funny even in Raymond. I remember an episode where they're repainting the house and somebody says something to Frank about needing ventilation because of the fumes. He responds by giving the bucket of paint a good stir and then huffing the fumes like he's smelling a pot of stew while making direct eye contact and grinning.
Agree to disagree I guess. I hated Archie Bunker at home.
He's definitely not the funniest he's ever been in Raymond but comparing him to Archie Bunker is ridiculous and unfair, I hereby sentence you to actually go watch All in the Family
