A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. A showerthought should offer a unique perspective on an ordinary part of life.

Rules

All posts must be showerthoughts
The entire showerthought must be in the title
Avoid politics

2. Political posts often end up being circle jerks (not offering unique perspective) or enflaming (too much work for mods).

Unrelated anecdote:

I was driving one time, and got lost in my city. I drove a church. Their billboard read:

Lost? Come in and ask for directions! As in the spiritual kind.

Anyway, I decided to drive on, and get progressively more lost. I decide to turn around. I make my way back to the church, and on the reverse side of the billboard:

Need a sign from god? This could be it!

So I stopped and asked for directions...
