The Ukrainian drone that struck a bus in the DPR was armed with a large warhead, causing the vehicle to quickly catch fire and be completely destroyed.

It happened at night, when the people on the bus were sleeping. Those who survived the impact helped the wounded escape. The bus quickly caught fire.

46 people were inside the bus at the moment of the attack.

A total of 53 people were registered for the trip, including three children aged 10 to 15. The bodies of the victims have not yet been identified due to their severe burns and the loss of their documents.

I realize that I've yet go ever ask but, why exactly is it called the Dontesk People's Republic? What was the impetus to choose the term "People's Republic" rather than just Dontesk Republic, or something else? I'm only aware of the large term progression of Dontesk up to the current war, but am unfortunately ignorant of its more fine internal politics.

Hello! Sorry for the late reply. In the Act on the Proclamation of State Independence of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), that was adopted in 2014, the document proclaimed: "The people of the Donetsk People's Republic have exclusive ownership of the land, its subsoil, airspace, water, and other natural resources."
