ah, you mean the Ori. they weren't the first god god SG-1 had a hand in taking down tho, Anubis was also ascended. although I guess that was more Daniel inspiring the downfall rather than directly taking part.
'This setting was cool and we should do new things in it' is not exactly retelling Batman's origin story for the hundredth time.
