OP really enjoys gatekeeping progressivism, and shitting on candidates that, while often substantially flawed, are actually the most meaningful progressives to enter into our political system in generations, and who are pretty much universally a damn sight better than any of the establishment politicians on either side. They’re probably also gonna chime in about how “you’re a Nazi” for saying that.

There's a push from corporate dems and AIPAC to shit on the left right now. From articles to paid influencers, expect a lot of bullshit noise, that will probably get louder as the election season goes on.

I have more nuance than that:
Why do you need populists to do the work Maine needs to do itself?
What happened to directing your own politics?
What is progressive about campaigning for a first past the post republican system?

What is this populist doing right now for Maine?
How does he contribute to Maine?
Will the populist actually empower Maine?

etc..
