Obligatory "fuck Vance," but his comment was made in the context of other commencement speakers' getting boo'd for their AI comments, and in that sense it actually was an amusing joke (given Vance's proclivity for gaffes, I suspect credit goes to his speech writer).
Wish the headlines mentioned he was joking (I understand the desperation for any traffic)
it's a typical wrasslin heel move to respond to boos by commanding the booers to not boo, which is how people are taking it. headline is not story
Of all the people who have been a fall guy, JD is a fall guy the most amount.
I've been watching him with that in mind, it becomes hard not to see. Doing corny villain lines is just laughably transparent though.
