OpenOffice has been dead for a decade. Please, forget it has ever existed and use LibreOffice instead. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
I knew one of them was the current one but since I haven't used them in a while I wasn't sure which one. Guess I guessed wrong. Thank you for your PSA.
it's not dead, it's just very little maintained by apache the last release was november 2025
It hasn't got an update worth a 0.1 version number bump in over a decade, I'd consider it pretty dead.
But does it work? Is there newly discovered math that openoffice hasnt updated with?
Or just use Microsoft Office 2003 in Wine.

You're supposed to drink the wine? I dunked the computer in wine.
Liquid cooling is meant to be contained in tubes, fittings, and resevoirs. You have to use mineral oil if you want an aquarium pc.
When they said clean the motherboard with alcohol, I don't think that's what they meant.
