👋 Hey c/nba — this is an automated game thread bot keeping tabs on today's playoff action. Game info is posted as comments below and updated every 10 minutes, including live scores, quarter-by-quarter breakdowns, and series standings.

A new pinned thread goes up each day games are scheduled, so you can always find today's action at the top of the community. Game data is sourced directly from the NBA's content delivery network.

Because he has guard skills and he can dribble past any big guarding him.

Not really against OKC’s guard defenders. He’s vulnerable to getting the ball stolen because of how high his dribble is, and especially so against good defenders in OKC. It’s fine if he’s matched up against taller/bigger players like Gobert or Chet. In game 1, Wemby was unstoppable when they got him the ball while already in the paint. OKC intentionally puts their stronger guards on him (Caruso) at the perimeter for that reason. But when Wemby is able to get in the paint, Caruso couldn’t do anything.

True. That's how they won game 1 in 2nd OT. They should try that again.
