Flippanarchy
Flippant Anarchism. A lighter take on social criticism with the aim of agitation.
Post humorous takes on capitalism and the states which prop it up. Memes, shitposting, screenshots of humorous good takes, discussions making fun of some reactionary online, it all works.
This community is anarchist-flavored. Reactionary takes won't be tolerated.

This is an anarchist comm. You don't have to be an anarchist to post, but you should at least understand what anarchism actually is. We're not here to educate you.

No shaming people for being anti-electoralism. This should be obvious from the above point but apparently we need to make it obvious to the turbolibs who can't control themselves. You have the rest of lemmy to moralize.

It has been the Democrat's major strategy to gain political power in this country since 2016 when Trump first took office to advocate for a certain type of negative politics that isn't the Republicans, rather than advocating for a positive politics focused on what makes the Democrats.
Establishment Dems use the existence of MAGA Republicans to try to persuade voters that they're at least not as bad as MAGA, when they should be spending the time between elections persuading voters with all the good policies that defined the Dems for decades: positive immigration, civil rights, social safety nets, etc.
Establishment Dems have a politics of what are we against, while new sects of the party like Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) have a politics of what are we for. The latter are seeing amazing success across the country.
except they no longer support those policies.
