    Thanks! Hard to get a good fruit cake nowadays, but the Lions Club always comes through.

    I am strongly in favour of the school that requires the fruit for a cake to be soaked in strong tea rather than in rum or brandy. I will, however, soak the fruit for a plum pudding in rum/brandy. Cake is different.
