No roles for other party ministers under Swinney it seems then. It shall be interesting to see how Holyrood business is shaped after this then. The cabinet:

Pretty sure to be in cabinet requires royal appointment essentially, so Charles has to yet sign the paperwork. They then become The Right Honorable if they are senior enough, but I think only FM from Holyrood gains that title. And I don't think a royal has refused a designate since like Charles I - and he lost his head for it

They've been picked by the FM but not yet given royal assent. The two designates in the Cabinet (Flynn and McKee) are the only two that didn't have roles in the prior Cabinet
