Not really a gimmick, foldable phones are awesome.
Apple is just naturally behind the curve and figuring out things other brands have already been doing for 6+ years.
Other brands have had crease-less foldables for 6+ years?
I love my Flip7. Had a flip since 2020. Don't worry, John Apple will invent one soon.
Not sure why Apple didn't license Samsung displays like every other time.
Stupid gimmicks are phones with >6" screens you can't carry or store anywhere.
Flip phones are 3" squares you can carry easily.
