I have an rtx 3080 and I don't think I can upgrade to a better card for the 750 euros I paid for it back then.

Same boat. I last built in late 2024 when the 9800X3D dropped with intention to upgrade my video card in 2025. Guess what video card I'm still running? ๐Ÿ˜‘

No complaints, though. It hasn't let me down, yet. Just wish you could undervolt in Linux the way you could in Windows. My thermals were better.
