I like squirrels.
watching squirrels reminds me of myself when I was playing arc raiders, running from corner to corner, stopping to see if I hear anything around me, then scavenging for stuff, then run some more to another corner and repeat. then come across some big arc and run for my life
You know, I would totally play an extraction game where you play as a squirrel gathering nuts and things.

That is fun sounding; too bad it's VR + mobile and not... a more reasonable set of environments!
True enough, though I gotta admit: a team of even mildly organized squirrels make the tree player (VR) wonder if someone cranked up the difficulty after the kiddos had their turns in the seat. 🥹😂

I like turtles
It's more like love-hate for me. They're terribly cute and they do play an important ecological role.
But they are destructive little shits. Mercilessly and needlessly destroying homes, gardens, and at times even vehicles. Their reigns of terror are expensive and tough to mitigate. And with so few remaining natural predators, their populations quickly grow to near plague levels quite rapidly. May your tomato plants be damned.
Stop chasing away the coyotes, corvids, raptors, snakes, or pretty much any mid-tier predator, then. Coexist > consume.
if apes hadn't been faster, squirrels would rule the Earth
