MODERATORS
pretty much every fandom. Doctor Who fans turned me off watching it (the ones on reddit by far being the worst). Star Trek fans are even the same with stuff like Starfleet Academy.
It's to the point now where if I like something I don't even talk about it online. except for 40K. that fanbase is hilarious.
Oh, you didn't stumble upon the part of the fanbase that likes and paints their Imperial Guard in historical inspired colours. Or the ones that like their Black Templar a bit too much. Or the ones that want to "purge the Xenos" irl.
Plus the way overdone shovel meme.
Doctor Who and Star Trek drove off everyone with any kind of sense years ago (I quit DW after the first Peter Capaldi season and I haven't watched any Star Trek media since the JJ Abrams movies) so it's not surprising that their current fanbase aren't exactly providing stimulating conversation.
