I started using Lemmy around the time of the Reddit exodus. I would like to keep connected to these communities but don't know if that's possible with the upcoming changes with Android.

Currently I'm using the Jeroba app on a Samsung phone. I would love to ditch Android and get a custom rom but don't know if it's worth all the problems of my banking/work apps not working.

When logging on recently I received a message saying that my app will stop working eventually as the developers are not agreeing with the changes. Is there another app that I can use? Should I just access lemmy using an old phone?

I want to get the Motorola GrapheneOS phone, but it's rumored to be coming out next year. If I can't get GOS before they stop being supported, I'll limp along with the web browser until I do.
