Reddit Starts Blocking Mobile Website, Pushing Users to App Instead
(www.macrumors.com)
This is a most excellent place for technology news and articles.
There are still Lemmy users who go to reddit and reddit users who are exploring alternatives.
Onboarding onto Lemmy isn't the best experience and a lot of existing redditors are already afraid of change and don't want to learn a new thing.
I don't know if there is a website dedicated to making it easier for folks to jump ship but I can say that the amount of content on Lemmy now is much higher than it was when I joined.

I just want 2009 - 2015 Reddit back, or a place that resembles it. It was just a pleasant time.
Ah yes, right around when Gislane Maxwell was a power user and mod on Reddit.
i heard she came back recently, but its uncofirmed.
I guess that would line up with her getting transferred to minimum security.
i think alot of them go back because of the lack of content, and the federation, plus when an instance vanishes they likely go back in the end.
