Maybe its too on the nose to say so on Lemmy, but fuck Reddit right in the earhole. Their pearl-clutching, risk-averse, pro-corporate moderation-bot and tattle-tale system was the last straw.

    There are still Lemmy users who go to reddit and reddit users who are exploring alternatives.

    Onboarding onto Lemmy isn't the best experience and a lot of existing redditors are already afraid of change and don't want to learn a new thing.

    I don't know if there is a website dedicated to making it easier for folks to jump ship but I can say that the amount of content on Lemmy now is much higher than it was when I joined.

    I just want 2009 - 2015 Reddit back, or a place that resembles it. It was just a pleasant time.
