It's very easy to lose long comments while typing them out (lemmy.world)

If you navigate off the page by accident it doesn't always ask an "are you sure?" to protect your work.

This is a problem on other forums + SM, e.g reddit, but seems prevalent on lemmy.

That's all I've got to say. If there's eventually some solution or improvement to this it would be nice.

Might just be a problem with how i use my mobile device;

on this occasion i opened up anki by highlighting part of my text and then found the browser closed, so perhaps i should have just backspaced from anki to navigate back to my in-progress commment. It has happened on other occasions as well - i think one common thread is that replies to a post stsy saved but replies to a comment/reply are collapsed upon accidentally minimising a browser, and you lose it all.

This probably happens because your browser gets killed by the OS due to low memory. Opened an issue: https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy-ui/issues/4084
