Not a voter for either party, but the only coherent answer to this is the national strategic petroleum reserve - we have chronically failed to meet our obligation of 90-days as part of our agreement with the International Energy Agency.
This is not a new failing that can be solely blamed on Labor, we have failed to meet this target for over a decade (basically since 2012) - the entire previous Turnbull/Abbot/Morrison shit-show should shoulder a good chunk of the blame for letting it get so low under their watch.
The funny thing is, that the people who said we'd run out of diesel and petrol, have now gone silent again.
Their dead line has now passed
It's not a crisis either. Maybe it's time to stop flogging this dead horse.
