Jaundice isnt weird for babies, and in most cases isnt something that requires any intervention. Kids get jaundiced because their little livers cant break down their blood overproduction (They're switching out their fetal hemoglobin as they need to start breathing on their own instead of stealing mamas oxygen) so they get too much bilirubin, so they get jaundiced. It's fine.
