If I had to guess, it's the former. I've spied on nazi spaces before. They make no secret that they think trump is a "cuck to israel," and they hate him for "letting" his daughter marry a jewish man. They view biden as the lesser evil when it comes to nazism and "the jewish question" even if they still don't like him. A distinction has to be drawn between the nazi type of fascist who is obsessed with antisemitism above all else and the more generalized fascism of our decaying capitalist system which is obsessed with nationalism and class collaboration regardless of demographics (i.e. the fascism of our system which is OK with arming neo-nazis in ukraine and zionist fascists in israel at the same time). The latter type of fascist prefers Trump, the former type of specifically nazi fascist prefers Biden because of his incidental support of neo-nazis. But a preference barely matters in this context because either way we get fascism and continuing bourgeois control.
Great point. It's easy to say "all of these groups are fascists," and in an abstract sense be right. But the differences matter to the extent better understanding fascists helps you defeat them.
