Not that shocking when you really think about it. Nixon had 24% approval when he resigned. Since then entire right wing media networks have been created specifically to ensure republicans don't have to suffer the same accountability. That's to say nothing of the countless bots on social media.

Think about how much money and influence is being focused on keeping Trump and the GOP palatable until the midterms, then remember that only 1 out of 3 people are actually being fooled into thinking he's doing a good job.

    33% of Americans approve of:

    Child trafficking and rape

    Collapse of rule of law

Shifting the tax burden entirely onto the poor

Mass kidnappings of minorities and dissidents

    The building of concentration camps

    Illegally kidnappibg foreign leaders

Raping developing countries of their resources

Unnecessary, unprovoked and illegal wars of aggression

    Bombing of little school girls

    Genocide of Palestinians

    Genocide of Hispanic Americans

    Genocide of anyone not white

    Rampant stagflation

Collapse of any semblance of the American dream

And that's just scratching the surface

I know it's not an excuse, but I doubt they all know and knowingly support all of this. There's plenty of people utterly un- or misinformed about what's going on in the world or inside the US. There was this video recently where they interviewed beach-goers about the Iran war. They barely even knew what a war or Iran was.

I know the video you're talking about.

I doubt a bunch of random fuck beach going horny frat bros are the best metric for measuring gauging the degeneracy and malice of the average right winger.

We've far exceeded the point where MAGA ignorance and MAGA malice have converged, and are one in the same. Behind them is a river of blood that only grows.

And when confronted with reality, invariably they will choose to reject reality, rather than come to terms with their actions. They are all simply evil, ignorance or intention be damned.

You're right. It's not an excuse. In fact at this point, I don't even know why it would come into consideration.

Because you can't dismiss 30% of a population. They need to at least partially be taken along, just because they're too many to just declare war on.

Let's declare war on a more manageable percentage and definitely without compromising core values. So we gotta pierce the bubble of the misinformed, but defeat the ones who misinform out of malice and self interest.

Wars have been fought and won against worst odds and worse circumstances.
