75 seconds is utterly ridiculous and shows whoever is in charge has never left NZ. Most overseas places I've lived the dwell time is more like 10 seconds.

NZ has a lot of people who are risk averse as a substitute for competence.

This isn't Auckland's firat train, they should have an idea of the current dwell time, but I'm guessing 75 seconds is what they expect when they open up and everyone wants a ride. That will likely settle down a lot over time.
