It is a very specific treated minced meat. It is safe to eat and will not poison you. It tastes fucking insane with some onion, small amount of salt and pepper on top.

So the more interesting question is rather why you apparently don't eat it raw?

Exchange "steamed" with "roasted" and add "mett" (the name for the tasty kind of raw ground meat), and I'm with you! ;-)
