I really think the main issue we have is that people, who have formed their lives under the conditions of capitalism, are unwilling to let go of surplus value, that's been accumulated. Who is Natalie? A researcher? Does she do studies? Does she experiment? Well not really. She's just an intellectual who copies from others, an expert with no experience, just built on surplus value. Of course you can't do -nothing- there's some work done, don't get me wrong.

You could even argue that working in order to stop working is a job all on it's own, the problem is you need a servant in order to stop doing that. The "hope" is that machines will get good enough to replace the servants entirely and then liberals plan to have only 1 class, the "Master" class. It's the complete inverse of communism. The only hope I have is literally people like Marx who perfectly lay down why the workers will always be stronger than the masters and why a society of "Masters" will inevitably self-destruct.

Unfortunately from my own material surroundings I can only assume that perhaps "Marxism" really underestimates the capacity of irrationality and the lengths we can go, in order to justify what we know we shouldn't do. Part of me is really afraid that we're always a moment away from slipping into Mechanical materialism where the mind is detached from body and it is going to be the thing that ultimately dooms us. I see too many "Socialists" fall into centuries old propaganda. I see no answer to this problem. Just "Trust me bro." How is this any different from going to Church? I mean I get what the answer is: "You have to get out of the rat race yourself, we can't help you. Egg cracked outside = food." So you basically want me to believe that we're doing law of the jungle, until the point where we press the Socialism button scientifically? Until then it's just might makes right?

So I should just give up on Socialism? Even if I successfully go through all the pain and effort to build socialism, in the end, the moment we win, as it stands, the only victory will be getting bombed into extinction. There's absolutely no way in hell that they will allow me to exist. So what am I supposed to do, follow Singapore's example? No matter what I do the end result seems I get bombed by someone.
